New week, new CAD thread.

Still having quick weight loss.....yesterday I stayed firm, didn't lose or gain. Today I am down another pound.

Had a good day yesterday, stuck to LC eating all day. Then when I was about to start dinner for my RM, husband said he wanted chinese food sadeyes Chinese food is a weakness of mine so I caved and said OKAY!! I knew it wasn't the best but had chinese for my reward meal. Good lord. I even had an icecream sundae (small) w/my son. That's why I was so surprised when I got on the scale this morning and I was down a pound. I was fully expecting a gain! I wonder if it will catch up to me a couple days from now, with all the sodium and MSG....I think I got lucky.

Hey Linda, hope you are able to get started today with me! I'll be thinking of you.

I started back on CAD today! I weighed...not as bad as I expected...

Breakfast was eggs with ham and cream cheese.

Lunch will be salad and beef.

Not sure about dinner....

I think I'll have a good start on this while DH is gone....I'll do my RMs at night with DS but when DH gets back I may have to change and do my RMs at lunch with DH....I'll see how it goes.

Had to go out really early this morning with DS to do an errand so I stopped at the grocery store on the way home to get salad stuff and more chicken...still have plenty of beef but needed eggs, too. Hope to get some cooking done today so I'm better prepared!

Yesterday was great! I forgot how much I like this plan! Down 3.4 lbs. today....with weighing everyday and then averaging it I have to remember not to worry if I bounce up a little but we'll see what the average is on Sunday.

I had chili with Dreamfield's for dinner last night...2 tangerines for dessert.

Today's breakfast was eggs with ham, shredded gouda and a little bit of sour cream.

Lunch will be salad with beef again...using up stuff in the fridge!

Not sure about dinner yet but I'm thinking chicken alfredo over mashed cauliflower with more tangerines....I bought a bag of those little suckers and have to eat at least 2 a day so they don't go bad! They are not much bigger than a golf ball so I could even have 3 if I want.

Going for a cardio workout at the gym today...bikes.....if they are available.

Don't worry, my weight also bounced up a little today too (1.5 pounds up). I know that's just fluctuation though. I am also doing the weigh every day then average thing. Makes it more rational I think and a more accurate way of seeing true weight loss. Now that I have the first week down, next week I will have something to compare to. I think my weight going up is due to that Chinese food I had 2 nights ago. Hello water retention! rolleyes

Anyhoo.....hope you have a great day again. I have a busy day today, gonna grab some cheese and sausage before I leave.

Yesterday was another successful day! Scale is down a bit more...it feels good to be back on this plan....why do we ever leave the plan that works for us?

I don't have meals planned yet but I'm thinking eggs for breakfast along with some fried cabbage and bacon.

I still have more of the beef strips that I've been having for lunch so I guess I'll have them with either salad or with veggies.

Not sure about dinner yet but I'm thinking of making DS's favorite casserole...that makes enough for a meal and a few lunches for his work days.

Today is weights day so I'll head to the gym after breakfast and get them done along with some bike time.

Thanks, Kelly...so far so good!

Tonight will be a test....I'm making a casserole (late dinner since I didn't pay attention to the time!) that's similar to Hamburger Helper that we call Gooey Noodles. And I bought a tiny one serving size container of mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Good Morning! Scale the same and I'm pleased about that....we had dinner much later than usual last night.

Today's breakfast was eggs, bacon and cabbage.

Lunch will be salad and beef...I think that's the last of the beef strips finally!

Not sure about dinner but it will include cauliflower!

Heading to the gym at some point today to get some bike time...

Had another good day...

Breakfast was eggs with cheese.

Got busy and forgot to eat lunch and so I had some cottage cheese mid afternoon...too late for a full lunch.

Dinner was chili with pasta and an apple with dip for dessert.

Had my usual Friday workout...bike time and weights at the gym.

Scale was down .2 today....I'll take it!

Breakfast today was eggs with ham and cheese

Lunch will be steak and cucumber salad and some veggie broth.

Not sure about dinner yet.

Hope to get a cardio workout at some point today....

Scale was up a tiny bit but I am assuming it's just fluctuation that is normal...I need to do the average to find out what my actual first week loss is...

Food has been on plan....not a single stray so I'm a happy chickie! I'm glad I decided to come back to CAD!

Breakfast was eggs with ham and cream cheese.

Lunch was meatballs and a slice of cheese.

Not sure what I'm making for dinner yet....

The scale is not my friend....back up again...not sure why....on plan all the way...it's hard to stay excited about being on plan when the scale keeps going back up....

Yeah my scale has been back up again lately Linda......I've been peeved about it. Stayed on plan yet weight is creeping up. I don't get it. I'm gonna stick with it for awhile longer. I feel loads better but still don't look better. Guess I am impatient.

I'm sticking with it for now because it's so much easier for me to do than most other plans....at this point I am not even thinking much about losing because I have to get prepared for surgery. So much to get done for that...to have everything ready so the guys can deal with a lot of stuff that I normally do while I'm recovering...

Also, last night I wasn't in the mood for cooking for just myself and I had 2 pb&j rollups made with lc tortillas and a bag of microwave popcorn...not really nutritious but very filling and easy.

Scale is down a little but still not to my low yet...
