Garlic Blue Cheese Butter

Ingredients:
4 cloves fresh garlic
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning
1/2 cup butter, divided
1 (4-ounce) container crumbled blue cheese (3/4 cup)
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Steps

1. Crush garlic, using garlic press, into microwave-safe bowl. Add onion powder, steak seasoning, and 2 tablespoons butter; microwave on HIGH 30 seconds or until butter melts.
2. Stir and microwave 1–2 more minutes, stirring once, or until hot and fragrant. Let sit to cool completely (about 5 minutes).
3. Cut remaining butter into small pieces and add to garlic mixture with blue cheese and thyme. Mix until well blended. Chill until ready to serve over meat of your choice. (Makes 8 servings.)



CALORIES (per 1/8 recipe) 150kcal; FAT 15g; CHOL 40mg; SODIUM 330mg; CARB 1g; FIBER 0g; PROTEIN 3g; VIT A 10%; VIT C 0%; CALC 8%; IRON 0%


I use this on bunless burgers, steak and grilled chicken......it is really good!
